Hunters

Call To Action for All NY State Hunters

The Second Amendment is not about hunting, but hunters should always stand for the Second Amendment.

Hunting is a deeply rooted tradition in America. However, the advantages of recreational hunting go well beyond the enjoyment and challenges it offers to hunters. It also plays a crucial role in wildlife and natural resource management.

Hunters form a powerful voting bloc, and when united with Second Amendment supporters, this alliance becomes exceptionally strong.

In NY there are over 500 thousand hunting license holders.

Gross cost of all hunting licenses is over 24 million dollars.

County chapters of the Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs interface with the New York State Conservation Council.  The NYSCC interacts with the New York Department of Environmental Conservation.

The Mission:

  • Encourage and engage hunters to actively support the Second Amendment.
  • Enlist hunters to participate in political activities at the local, state, and national levels.
  • Address and reduce apathy towards the Second Amendment within the hunting community.
  • Showcase the safe and ethical use of firearms in hunting.
  • Preserve the American hunting tradition and secure hunting opportunities for all.
  • Support pro-hunting and pro-2A lawsuits.

Call To Action:

Attend a county Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs meeting.
